Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Wellcure Mental Therapeutic Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and family therapy sessions either remotely, in clients' homes, or at the outpatient clinic.

• Developing and implementing trauma-informed treatment plans that address emotional and behavioral challenges.
\n
• Facilitating skills training in anger management, coping strategies, and social skills to improve clients' abilities to navigate daily challenges.
\n
• Collaborating effectively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to coordinate care and share insights about treatment progress.
\n
• Documenting client interactions, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with clinic standards and confidentiality regulations.
\n
• Participating in monthly team meetings to provide input on case management and service delivery improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with children and adolescents aged 3-20 who exhibit a range of developmental disabilities and cognitive behavioral issues. Many of these individuals require specialized support to optimize their social skills and emotional regulation, particularly those presenting self-injurious behaviors or physical aggression. Our clinic is committed to helping families navigate the complexities of care for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, making your role instrumental in promoting positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, specifically during after-school hours (4-7 PM); weekend availability is a strong plus.

• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
\n
• Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience\n
