Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule. Our standard hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with potential evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to better accommodate our clients’ needs. Leveraging secure telehealth technology, you will deliver therapy sessions and consultations, thereby ensuring accessibility for clients who may have difficulty attending in-person sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans by collaborating closely with clients to identify their specific needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment for mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health.

• Regularly monitor clients’ progress during therapy sessions, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plan based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach to mental health treatment.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mood disorder research and treatment methodologies, participating in ongoing professional development.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to comply with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to discuss challenging cases and share best practices contributing to professional growth.

• Advocate for clients, working towards destigmatization of mental health issues and promoting awareness about mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving adults experiencing mood-related disorders. You will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying degrees of mental health needs, creating treatment plans that are culturally sensitive and considerate of each client's unique situation. Your expertise will directly affect their recovery journey, helping to decrease symptoms, improve coping mechanisms, and enhance overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure permitting practice in New York State as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly in treating mood disorders.
\n
• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the experience to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive mental health outcomes for clients suffering from mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills enabling you to build rapport with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

• Experience in utilizing telehealth platforms for delivering therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus additional bonuses.
