This full-time position offers the ability to work entirely remotely, enabling you to manage a clinical caseload of clients while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at I&S Talk Therapy, you will:

• Provide empathetic, ethical, and individualized counseling sessions through video technology, fostering a safe environment for client discussions.

• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) tailored to meet the varying needs of your patients.

• Conduct thorough assessments, and create and manage customized treatment plans that empower clients to address their mental health challenges.

• Facilitate insightful discussions that encourage clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and relationships, supporting their journey towards improved mental well-being.

• Regularly track client progress, providing necessary adjustments to treatment plans and introducing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with team members and participate in training to stay updated on best practices in mental health care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will primarily consist of stable, low acuity adults who seek support for various mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to life transitions. Your ability to build rapport and trust with this diverse demographic can significantly impact their quality of life. You will guide them towards achieving their therapeutic goals, ultimately contributing to their mental wellness and life satisfaction.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• A current state-issued license that allows for independent practice as a mental health counselor—specific licenses accepted include:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)

• No provisional licenses will be accepted; candidates should have no disciplinary actions against their license.

• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and an ability to empathize with clients.

• High computer literacy, with access to a dependable internet connection, webcam, and audio capabilities for video therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience\n
