Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing and nurturing robust therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries at all times.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to monitor their progress, discuss therapeutic goals, assess stability, and plan for discharge when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new clients to determine their needs and appropriate services.
\n
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, harnessing evidence-based practices tailored to the specific challenges faced by each client.

• Engage in individual supervision and training to continuously enhance clinical skills and broaden therapeutic approaches.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to develop integrated care strategies for clients.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at John Community Health Network, you will play a critical role in facilitating recovery and promoting resilience among clients who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with no restrictions on independent practice.

• At least one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is necessary for consideration.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant software (e.g., RMS systems, Outlook, PIMSY).
