Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, either via video call or secure online messaging, for clients struggling with perinatal mental health issues.

• Assist clients and their families in navigating social service needs by maintaining relationships with local agencies and making timely referrals when necessary.

• Lead psychoeducational groups focusing on perinatal mental health to promote awareness and provide valuable resources.

• Document patient interactions and progress meticulously, ensuring adherence to JCAHO and Medicaid standards, thus maintaining compliance with the highest regulations.

• Engage with interns and volunteers to enhance community outreach and wellness programs, ensuring every client’s needs are addressed holistically.

• Facilitate intake assessments and collaboratively create treatment plans while receiving ongoing clinical supervision.

• Proactively support our clients’ progress through comprehensive and dynamic treatment approaches, adjusting techniques as necessary to meet evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing perinatal mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders related to pre and post-birth experiences. The role requires empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of the complexities associated with this client population, as you offer both therapeutic interventions and psychoeducation to empower clients and families.

Qualifications\n

• A valid social work license as per state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).

• A master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
