Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,743–$1,790 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (12-hour days). Setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients in accordance with established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with multidisciplinary teammates.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patient response.
- Analyze assessment data, identify care needs, and adjust plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Document findings accurately, educate patients and families, and promote a safe, healing environment; delegate appropriately and oversee delegation of tasks.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) and current BLS/CPR certification per policy; ACLS required.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent ICU/acute care field experience.
- Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting; strong critical thinking, assessment, and collaboration with the care team.
- Additional: Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in discharge planning as part of the care team.
