Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting vibrant educational communities near Saint Paul, MN, for the 2026-2027 school year. You'll shape the growth and well-being of students across both elementary (grades K-5, approximately 25-35 students) and middle school (grades 6-8, approximately 20-30 students) settings, providing a wide-reaching impact while working within just one building.

In this vital role, your expertise will guide the development and oversight of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring each student receives personalized support and care. Whether you're conducting behavioral interventions, counseling students, or advocating for effective educational strategies, your collaboration with staff, teachers, and families will foster an environment where every learner can thrive. Your day-to-day work will also include crisis intervention and safety planning—making a real difference during pivotal moments.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license is required.
• Direct experience or strong understanding of K-8 student populations.
• Proficiency in developing, managing, and supporting IEP processes.
• Ability to provide effective counseling and behavioral interventions.
• Strong skills in crisis intervention and collaborative problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve a stable caseload across both elementary and middle school levels.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with district and state guidelines.
• Offer counseling services and behavioral support to students.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff.
• Participate in crisis intervention, response, and ongoing student safety efforts.
