Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patients' strengths, challenges, and treatment needs.

• Developing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Administering individual, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Facilitating psychoeducational and support groups, which provide clients with community resources and shared experiences for holistic care.

• Providing crisis intervention services, ensuring that clients have support during acute mental health emergencies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other specialists to provide integrated care and share insights on treatment progress.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client documentation in line with legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Participating actively in case consultations, weekly team meetings, and continuous professional development opportunities.

• Staying updated on current research and advances in mental health therapy to refine your clinical skills continually.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse range of clients dealing with various mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar conditions, and issues related to substance abuse. You will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals from varied backgrounds, enabling you to tailor therapies to meet each client's specific needs.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure in Virginia as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective treatment strategies.

• Skills in delivering both individual and group therapy across a range of demographic populations.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and adeptness with various computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, preferred candidates will have:
