The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for ensuring day to day accounting functions are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures. Experience with Business Dynamics/Great Plains software and MS Access highly preferred. Experience with MS Excel and Word required.The Accounts Payable Clerk will report to the Chief Financial Officer.ResponsibilitiesAssist in supporting and responding to third party inquiries including outside consultants, auditors, the Board of Directors and investorsAccounts receivable invoice creation and filing.Accounts payable invoices, distribution of and monitoring of outstanding.Monitor deposit invoices and insure reversals are properly handled.Process company expense reports on a weekly basis.Log AR invoices into weekly report.Review open projects and close as required.Work well with program coordinators to insure accuracy of monthly invoicing.Support process improvement, policy development and corporate governance initiatives that impact the organizationOther job duties as assignedRequirementsProven working experience in a financial role or public accountingOutstanding presentation, reporting and communication skillsSolid knowledge of financial statementsProven ability to meet demanding deadlinesExceptional planning, organizational and multi-tasking skillsAnalytical thinker with financial statement expertiseProficiency in Microsoft Office, expertise in ExcelBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferredCPA preferred but not requiredFor informational purposes only, the hourly range for a part time Accounts Payable Clerk begins at $17 per hour, with a mid-range of $26 per hour and a top pay of $35 per hour.
