Work Environment\n

This remote position not only focuses on providing therapeutic services to clients but also values a healthy work-life balance. We understand the importance of your personal time and support our team members in pursuing passion projects. The work schedule for this role is structured to promote flexibility, with full-time counselors expected to work Monday to Friday for 8 hours each day, while part-time counselors will have the opportunity to arrange their hours from Monday to Saturday based on the team’s needs and their personal schedule. Importantly, no weekend work is required, allowing for rest and rejuvenation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop tailored inpatient therapy plans through comprehensive assessments and evaluations to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, couples, and families, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
\n
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, based on client-specific requirements.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to provide holistic client care aimed at achieving optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training workshops to stay informed about advancements in mental health care and therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Our focus extends to families and couples, as well as those with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. Your expertise and compassionate approach will significantly contribute to their recovery journeys, enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence and engagement within the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
\n
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish strong rapport with a variety of clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly desirable.

• A proven ability to work effectively within a team-oriented healthcare environment.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
