Reliance Youth and Family Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Mental Health Therapist to join our integrated care team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of patients with complex medical and psychiatric needs. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW), you will utilize your skills in a remote work setting while collaborating with a diverse team of medical professionals to deliver comprehensive mental health services.

This full-time position is remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while connecting directly with patients via teletherapy platforms and digital communication tools. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, incorporating considerations for co-occurring medical conditions, and evaluate their impact on patients’ mental well-being.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical needs, ensuring they are tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate patient engagement and recovery.

• Collaborate with medical providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes for patients with complex medical conditions.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate assessment and safety planning.

• Educate patients about the link between mental health and physical health, empowering them with strategies to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation according to HIPAA regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and strategize on effective care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals dealing with a variety of challenges, including chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders, all of which influence their mental health. You will provide compassionate support to help patients navigate these complexities, ensuring they receive the comprehensive care they deserve. Your role will be critical in improving the overall mental health outcomes for patients facing the dual challenges of mental and physical health issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona is essential.

• Strong proficiency in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions, demonstrating a deep understanding of the interplay between mental and physical health.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with medical professionals, showcasing experience in an integrated care setting.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong commitment to building therapeutic relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with at least two years of experience in individual and/or family therapy, particularly in integrated care environments, will be preferred. Experience in crisis intervention, group therapy, and alternative therapeutic modalities is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
