Founding Business Development Representative (BDR) Location: San Francisco (in-person, in-office, full-time ONLY) Compensation: $90K – $120K base | $135K – $160K OTE About Virio Virio is building the next-generation B2B GTM stack. Backed by investors and operators from LinkedIn, YouTube, HubSpot, Rippling, and Google, we help the fastest-growing B2B companies go to market through executive-led content that drives revenue. We're looking for a Founding BDR to build and scale our outbound engine from scratch. This is part BDR, part GTM engineer — you'll source and engage founders, CMOs, and GTM leaders at high-growth B2B companies, and you'll build the data, tools, and automations that make outbound work better than any traditional SDR could. What You'll Do Own outbound pipeline generation from 0 → 1 — from ICP to first conversation Build and own our GTM tech stack from scratch — enrichment, sequencing, CRM, automation Engineer data and research pipelines (Clay, scrapers, enrichment, AI workflows) that feed personalized outreach at scale Source and engage founders, CMOs, CROs, and GTM leaders Craft messaging that gets responses — not generic templates Run high-volume, high-quality multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls) Use AI tools to move faster — better research, better outreach, better follow-up Treat outbound as a system to build and improve, not a quota to grind What Makes You a Great Fit Exceptional at outbound — or obsessed with getting great at it Thinks like a builder — automates and systematizes instead of doing things manually Hands‑on (or hungry to get hands‑on) with modern GTM tooling — Clay, enrichment tools, scrapers, sequencers, AI Comfortable with data — can source, structure, and clean it for sharp targeting AI-native — uses tools to work smarter and the output reflects it Understands the GTM buyer deeply — founders, CMOs, CROs, revenue leaders Writes and communicates well — your outreach doesn't sound like everyone else's Traits That Thrive at Virio High agency & execution bias – Takes action immediately without waiting for direction Systems thinking – Builds process and tooling, doesn't just grind manually Pipeline obsession – Focused on pipeline quality, velocity, and sustained forward momentum Comfort with ambiguity – Energized by uncertainty and motivated by building from scratch Direct, accountable communication – Values clarity, speed, and ownership in communication Low ego & relentless ownership – Takes full responsibility and follows through without excuses Benefits Work directly with the CEO Competitive total compensation aligned to impact and ownership Meaningful equity upside as part of the founding team Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan All working meals covered Relocation support for San Francisco Company-wide annual off‑site High ownership, high trust, and fast career progression alongside world-class client partners In‑person culture with deep commitment to excellence This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in San Francisco.
