You will communicate with clients via video and phone consultations, allowing continuity of care without geographical barriers. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to couples, families, and individuals using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with state laws and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with interdisciplinary teams, effectively communicating client progress and adjusting plans based on feedback.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops to stay informed about the latest research in mental health treatments and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our LPCs will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each presenting a unique set of challenges and experiences. This role is pivotal in addressing various mental health issues, making it essential to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet individual needs while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all clients.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or telehealth setting.

• Familiarity with mental health best practices and the local resources available in Waterbury and surrounding areas.

• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse clientele and effectively collaborate with healthcare teams.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and related technologies to document client progress and treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
