Work Environment\n

This position allows for a flexible work setting, primarily through secure telehealth platforms, where you will provide therapy and support to clients in the comfort of their own environments. Our outpatient office in Barre, Vermont, serves as a fallback location for any necessary in-person encounters, enabling a hybrid work model that caters to both therapist and client needs. The workweek is designed to be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced schedule that supports professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances and goals.

• Administer a range of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family therapy, to support clients in achieving their personal growth objectives.

• Partake actively in ongoing therapy sessions, utilizing active listening techniques and empathetic communication to build strong therapeutic relationships.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in adherence to ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and state laws.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, networking events, and training to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

The clients you will support come from diverse backgrounds, facing various challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Our inclusive approach ensures that each individual receives culturally competent care tailored to their specific mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Possession of a valid and active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license from the state of Vermont.

• A proven track record of effectively serving a broad range of clients and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methods.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective client interactions and documentation.

• Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
