Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health needs of students, ensuring that individualized treatment plans are developed and implemented in collaboration with school staff.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and play therapy tailored to the unique needs of children and adolescents.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with teachers, school counselors, and administrative staff to provide integrated care that addresses the academic and emotional challenges faced by students.

• Monitor and document client progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.

• Facilitate crisis intervention services for students in acute distress, employing de-escalation techniques and immediate support to stabilize situations effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will specifically focus on children and adolescents ranging from elementary through high school age, addressing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related concerns. Your role will be vital in helping these young clients develop coping strategies and resilience, particularly within the school environment, where academic and social pressures are prevalent.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Completion of a graduate degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology (master’s level or higher is required).
