Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Virginia
• Experience (or strong interest) in school-based practice, particularly with pediatric or adolescent populations
• Ability to adapt to evolving job details and openness to collaboration as program specifics are finalized
• Willingness to undergo immediate credentialing processes, including the VA Department of Social Services background check and a valid TB test result
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs and school needs
• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students, adjusting approaches as necessary
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure optimal student outcomes
• Document sessions and progress clearly and promptly
• Travel between assigned campuses (specifics to be determined)
