Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students’ developmental needs as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the Washington DC metro area, approximately 45 minutes south of the city. Work alongside dedicated education professionals and contribute to students’ academic and daily living success throughout the school year, with an anticipated start in early August and completion in late May.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active VA OT license
• Experienced in school-based occupational therapy practices
• Comfortable collaborating with educators, administrators, and student families
• Flexible mindset—open to working with details as they are finalized
• Ready to begin immediate credentialing, including the VA Department of Social Services background check and TB test

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students in various school settings; assignment details to be solidified with the district's director
• Evaluate student needs, develop individualized therapy plans, and monitor progress
• Consult with teachers and staff on strategies to enhance student participation and performance within the classroom environment
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services, progress reports, and related paperwork
• Communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders on student goals and outcomes
