Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to determine the mental health needs of students.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in accordance with best practices and client-centered approaches.
\n
• Administering a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), based on the unique needs and preferences of each client.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, complying fully with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive and effective care for students.

• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing service delivery and treatment efficacy.
\n
• Providing education and support to clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Staying current with ongoing research and developments in mental health, incorporating new knowledge into clinical practices.

• Managing a full caseload with an emphasis on meeting treatment goals in a timely manner while upholding ethical standards set by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with students from diverse backgrounds, each facing unique challenges related to mental health. This includes anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues, among others. Your ability to connect with young individuals and provide a safe, supportive space for them to explore their emotions will be key to their healing and development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

• At least three years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy and mental health support, especially in school or youth settings.

• A strong understanding of solution-focused interventions and evidence-based therapy techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients and their families.
