This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from your home or preferred location, which supports a healthy work-life balance. You will engage with clients via teletherapy sessions, leveraging secure video conferencing technology to provide effective therapy. Our outpatient office works with a wide range of patients, from children and adolescents to adults and families, ensuring a diverse range of therapeutic encounters.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique needs of clients.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to gauge clients' mental health status, identifying strengths and areas for growth that guide treatment plans.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations, actively involving clients in their own care process.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to client progress, interventions, and treatment outcomes using our secure electronic health record system.

• Regularly collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners to provide continuous, coordinated care across various service providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will include individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and various other mental health challenges. We pride ourselves on our diverse patient population, which necessitates a flexible and empathetic approach to therapy. You will work closely with clients across all age groups, tailoring your techniques to suit each individual or family dynamic.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current, fully licensed designation as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), allowing independent practice without supervision.

• No limited or provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions on record.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in teletherapy, trauma-informed care, or working within a multicultural framework will be highly regarded. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to forge empathetic and trusting relationships with clients are essential for success in this role. Proficiency in electronic health records and communication tools is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
