ED, Global Alliance Management

This role focuses on managing strategic alliances that involve global development of partnered assets and will play a key role in establishing Innovent track record and reputation as a great partner for such strategic alliances. This position will work closely with Innovent alliance management team based in China and serve as a senior advisor on matters that affect global strategic alliance. One specific responsibility of this individual is to manage global co-development and future US co-commercialization effort with Takeda on IBI363, a next generation IO backbone therapy to replace anti-PD1 across a variety of immune hot tumors and expand to Immune cold tumors such as MSS CRC. Main Duties Initial focus will be global co-development effort with Takeda on IBI363, a next generation IO backbone therapy to replace anti-PD1 across a variety of immune hot tumors and expand to Immune cold tumors such as MSS CRC. Oversee all global alliance activities; ensure that Innovent and partner(s) properly fulfill the corresponding obligations and deliver on key milestones; convene appropriate stakeholders and enlist their support for the alliance, solving problems, resolving conflicts, escalating issues to senior management as needed, schedule and plan governance and other meetings, etc. Guide decision making (even when they are not the decision makers) for an alliance on matters not specifically defined in the contract. Establish Innovent global alliance management function, including strategy, policies, process, as appropriate, by working across the functions including R&D, finance, legal, IP, CMC, other BD colleagues. Lead/Support other BD effort as directed. Identify strategic and incremental organizational resource needs re: People, Process and Technology. Job Qualifications Education and Qualification Bachelor degree required; Advanced degree in science or medicine preferred Professional Knowledge In depth expertise of global drug development In depth expertise in alliance management Work Experience More than 10 years of professional experiences in the bio/pharmaceutical industry More than 5 years of experience in oncology required. More than 5 years of alliance management experience required. More than 5 years of experience at MNCs preferred but not required. Skill Requirement Excellent organizational communication and coordination skills.
