Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating supportive individual therapy sessions under the supervision of a nurse, ensuring adherence to each patient’s individualized treatment plan.

• Providing appropriate observation of patients as per their treatment requirements, contributing to a safe therapeutic environment.

• Orienting patients and their families to the treatment process, alleviating concerns and answering questions to enhance understanding and engagement.

• Assisting patients with personal needs to foster comfort and connection during therapeutic interventions.

• Consistently documenting progress notes that reflect patient developments toward treatment goals, ensuring completion by the end of each shift.

• Identifying and reporting any changes in patient behavior, utilizing crisis management skills to address emergencies effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Demonstrated ability to make professional evaluations and treatment recommendations based on clients' needs.

• Proficient computer literacy, including familiarity with electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in outpatient settings, particularly those familiar with handling crisis situations and supporting varied client demographics. Familiarity with mental health treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques is highly valued.
