Location: 148 Andrew Young International Blvd NE Atlanta, GA 30303 (Onsite - Local Consultants) Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description This is a weekend shift with the hours of 7pm – 7am, Saturday and Sunday. They would then need to get in an additional 16 hours anytime during the week. Do you accept this requirement? Does the candidate meet/exceed ALL REQUIRED skills? Due to the essential nature of the work to be performed, this position REQUIRES the selected candidate to work ONSITE for the duration of the assignment. Candidates will not be permitted to work remotely. Due you accept this requirement? Under general supervision, operates computer and peripheral equipment. Performs clerical and maintenance tasks in support of a mainframe computer complex or other large centralized IT system.

The additional 16hrs can be picked up on any shift. 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Job Summary Under limited supervision, monitors BPE/TPE transactions, all environmental, security, electrical & UPS systems. Checks the network systems to ensure statewide access. Works with vendors for hw/sw. Ensure all printed output is of high quality and defect free. Preferred Qualifications Vocational/Technical degree in a related field from an accredited college AND 2 years of related experience*LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY*
Completion of either a two-year certificate/degree from a college, university, or technical school in an IT field or equivalent work experience in IT. Qualifications 2 Years Experience with a Network Operations Center (NOC). 2 Years Experience with Production Control. 2 Years Experience with Control-M. 2 Years Experience with TPE/BPE Manager. 2 Years Experience with security in a Data Center. 2 Years Experience with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) in a Data Center. 2 Years Experience with electrical power in a Data Center including generators and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). 2 Years Experience with a raised floor in a Data Center. 2 Years Experience with fire detection and fire suppression systems in a Data Center. 2 Years Experience with Change Management policies, procedures, and software. 2 Years Experience with Incident/Problem Management policies, procedures, and software. 2 Years Experience with Asset Management policies, procedures, and software. 2 Years Experience with Networks, such as LAN/WAN, MPLS, TCP/IP, and SNA. 2 Years Experience with Microsoft Office. 2 Years Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). 2 Years Experience with automated job schedulers. 2 Years Experience with hardware/software maintenance contracts. 2 Years Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. 2 Years Experience with State and/or Federal government. 2 Years Experience with distributed servers running AIX, LINUX, and Windows. #J-18808-Ljbffr My3techVacancy posted 10 hours ago
