Our company is looking for a Area Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Promoting types of equipment needed, signs, lights, configuration of lot and etc…
  • Direct the day-to-day functioning of assigned parking locations;
  • Rapid learner with the ability to grasp concepts and protocol;
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Successful sales experience may be substituted for academic credential;
  • Enforce workplace safety regulations and procedures;
  • Provide communication between production and office staff;
  • Maintain sufficient staffing to meet client needs;
  • Maintain a diverse portfolio of accounts;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned;
  • Able to persuade others and verbally express themselves;
  • Manage all route supervisors and their teams for the designated routes;
  • Leadership in a team environment;
  • Pro-actively seeks solutions to market/store conditions;
  • Develops intra-day and intra-week action plans to address operational issues in last mile delivery;
  • Drive Stantec’s Safer together culture and prioritize the health and safety of employees.

Requirements:

  • Able to work independently and as a team member to accomplish established goals;
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to lift and carry 50 – 80 lbs., 2 -3 days weekly;
  • Able to work on multiple projects in the same period of time;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field;
  • 5+ years of leadership experience;
  • Proactive, highly motivated and driven leader;
  • 5+ years distribution center experience;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills;
  • Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, General Management or a related field, preferred;
  • Capability to create a game plan for each evening and week by using effective time management and scheduling;
  • Skilled at making quality decisions, follow through with strategic planning to meet deadlines on tasks and projects;
  • Significant wine & spirits experience;
  • BS degree or equivalent work experience;
  • Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma.
