Our company is looking for a District Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Interview job applicants and select top candidates as well as monitor staffing needs;
  • Audit District branches;
  • Be in charge of operational practices making sure that each branch runs smoothly and meets projected revenues and sales estimates;
  • Cultivate and grow a strong team of committed branch managers that will maintain profit margins and implement business plan;
  • Maintain customer service levels to ensure customer service meets and exceeds the guest’s expectations;
  • Manages all costs;
  • Respond to emergency calls in a prompt and efficient manner in accordance with established procedures;
  • Collaborate with internal business partners; finance, human resources, marketing, operations, IT, and customer support;
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding Home Valet associates and creating/managing schedules;
  • Manage individual quota for depletions, placements and qualitative efforts;
  • Oversee the purchasing, pricing and sale of all inventory on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis;
  • Review monthly account performance;
  • Audits stores on a semi-annual basis, prepares reports and ensures follow up on any necessary action;
  • Utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports / P&L; addresses trends and issues in district performance;
  • Performs semi-annual audits and facility checklists, submits findings to division office and ensures follow up on any necessary action.

Requirements:

  • Multi-location management experience of dispersed workforce;
  • Bend at waist and lift over shoulder;
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel & Power Point;
  • Knowledge of basic employment law, customer service fundamentals, and leadership/management principles;
  • Must be based out of Houston;
  • Strong leadership and decision making skills;
  • Travel 90% outside of Houston;
  • Passion for sales and customer service excellence;
  • Proven track record of top tier performance;
  • Ability to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality;
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and must be available to work Saturdays;
  • Outstanding communications skills, both verbal and listening;
  • Industrial technical or engineering sales experience;
  • Strong desire to advance into Product Management or Sales Management;
