Our company is looking for a Sales and Business Development to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all inside and outside sales efforts;
- Develop key relationships with decision-makers and sell recruiting services;
- Complete a high volume of cold/warm calls to generate business;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our operations, product, and growth teams to improve the quality of our value proposition;
- Be the first sales lead on our newly created B2B team;
- Proactive management and ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle;
- Build a book of business that — thanks to you — loves working with YourMechanic, it’s people and it’s platform;
- Self-generate sales leads to sell software as a service (SaaS); a hosted solution;
- Achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets;
- Sell direct to industries within manufacturing, service, distribution and maintenance companies;
- Create results driven plan with focus on revenue generating prospecting activity;
- Coordinate and participate in customer events to increase sales;
- Lead negotiations, address concerns, and close deals;
- Close sales deals and pass along to appropriate member of the internal team;
- Identify partnership opportunities and lead all aspects of deal execution.
Requirements:
- Willingness and desire to understand corporate accounting and/or technology scope of duties;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Minimum of 1-2 years of sales/marketing experience;
- Passionate about networking, building new relationships, overcoming objections, and closing business;
- Genuine interest in learning about and supporting the Metro Phoenix Market’s continuous job growth;
- Experience with the sales methodology, sales process, and sales tech;
- Bonus points for experience in a high growth startup;
- A consistent track record of exceeding aggressive sales quotas;
- Direct experience in SMB sales, with extra credit for experience in the automotive and/or e-commerce industry;
- Self-starter with relentless energy and positivity;
- 5+ years experience in an inside sales role;
- Previous outbound/cold-calling and closing experience is a must.
