Our company is looking for a Director, Analytics & Data Science to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Stay abreast of new analytic methods and technologies and support development of these new capabilities internally;
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop clear, compelling reports of analytic results and insights;
  • Manage and grow a industry-leading team of data scientists and business analysts in multiple geographies;
  • Partner with data engineering team, technology architects and software developers to empower our lines of businesses with robust business intelligence;
  • Define approaches towards, and lead, complex and cross-functional analytical projects leveraging advanced computational algorithms;
  • Provide significant input into opportunities in better serving clients with data science and analytics;
  • Use relevant knowledge of computer science fundamentals, distributed computing and machine learning to help build scalable analytical solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience with data engineering and data management, including ETL platforms (Matillion, Azure Data Factory, SSIS);
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, operations research, economics, consumer sciences, or related field;
  • Experience with varied qualitative and/or quantitative research methods, as well as sampling methodologies and experimental design;
  • Experience with Tableau and Tableau Server, as well as a thorough understanding of data visualization best practices;
  • Three plus years of leadership experience in Analytics with experience presenting and communicating at the executive level;
  • Experience with one or more programming languages, including but not limited to SAS, SPSS, R, or Python;
  • Experience working with large data sets and applying statistical models, including predictive modeling, in an academic or professional setting;
  • Masters degree would be a bonus/nice to have;
  • Bachelor’s degree from top tier school in computer science or related degree.
