Our company is looking for a Proposal Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for negotiations, scope and cost with required subcontractors, agents and partners;
  • Ensuring that only services are sold that can be fulfilled by ROSEN;
  • Develop and produce marketing materials and brochures for clients based on direction from Project Managers, Proposal Manager / Marketing Specialists;
  • Market research for clients, projects and business development;
  • Review and search project lead services for possible project pursuits;
  • Support the proposal/presentation development process including: Review Requests For Proposals for submission requirements;
  • Develop and submit proposals in response to specific proposal requests;
  • Drive compliance of proposal team to meet interim milestones needed for timely submission of proposals;
  • Travel Needs: Occasional as required by proposal efforts, typically within NJ, NYC and Philly areas;
  • Basic Excel knowledge;
  • Good at working as a team player;
  • Scour RFPs for any requirements (deadlines, page limits, formats, attachments, notarizations, delivery specs);
  • C oordinate and capture notes from various proposal meetings;
  • Define and ensure the completion of all proposal deliverables (forms, project summaries, process figures, staffing charts, etc.);
  • Produce a high volume of written content that showcases our firm’s differentiators and aligns with our business strategy for proposal responses.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or higher and 3 to 5 years of proposal/contract administration and subcontracting experience;
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a diverse group of company team members and clients;
  • Must be self directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision;
  • Highly organized, flexible, and maintain confidentiality;
  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy;
  • Problem solving, project management and quick decisions skills;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office program skills;
  • Preference for candidate to reside in STL or LA;
  • Bachelors’ Degree in business, journalism, marketing, English, communication or other relevant field;
  • Excellent project management, organization and communication skills, including facilitation, writing and editing;
  • Strong customer service/sales focus;
  • 3-5 years of experience in RFP/proposal development, marketing, sales or related field;
  • Ability to publish and produce quality proposals;
  • Ability to comprehend relevant levels of technical information and translate into understandable features and benefits for customers;
  • Bachelor’s degree.
