Work Environment

This position is based at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, where you will work alongside a team of experienced professionals in a collaborative and friendly setting. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge rehabilitation technologies and treatment modalities, allowing for optimal patient care. Your regular schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life dynamic while enabling you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver patient care consistent with the organization's values and principles by performing all duties in an ethical and professional manner.

Adhere to the New Jersey State Practice Act, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards of care.

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their needs and establish tailored treatment goals and programs.

Implement and manage comprehensive, goal-directed treatment plans aimed at maximizing patient outcomes, while adjusting interventions based on ongoing assessments.

Work collaboratively with other healthcare practitioners and community resources to coordinate care and optimize patient recovery.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment adjustments as warranted.

Document patient progress accurately in our electronic health record system, ensuring all records are maintained in compliance with state regulations.

Engage in continuous learning and professional development, attending workshops and seminars relevant to physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice caters to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric individuals. As a Physical Therapist, you will utilize your expertise to assess and address a wide array of conditions, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation but also encompassing neurological, post-surgical, and sports-related injuries. You will be expected to communicate effectively with patients to educate them about their conditions and involve them actively in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

Hold a current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.

Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience providing physical therapy services in a clinical setting.

Exhibit proficiency in assessing and treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, with a track record of effective treatment outcomes.

Showcase strong communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.

Be able to adapt treatments and techniques based on individual patient needs and responses.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and patient education strategies. Experience working within an outpatient rehabilitation setting is also advantageous.

Rethink Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
