HR Generalist Recruitment & Administration

SUMMARY The Senior HR Coordinator/Administrative Admin will support the daily operations of the Human Resources office and union administration work. This hybrid role requires a highly organized, proactive individual capable of leading recruitment logistics, administering union employee support, and providing top-tier executive administrative support to HR leadership. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESHuman Resources & Employee Relations Onboarding & Offboarding: Support the end-to-end new hire process, including background checks, orientation, and exit interviews. Maintain accurate employee personnel files and ensure HR Information Systems (HRIS) are kept up to date. Compliance: Ensure all hiring practices and HR procedures comply with local, state, and federal employment laws Administrative & Operational Support Executive Administration: Manage calendars and prepare meeting materials for HR leadership. Office Management: Oversee daily office operations, liaise with vendors, and order office supplies. Communication: Draft memos, update internal files, and manage internal correspondence. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Sourcing & Screening: Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and conduct initial phone screens. Manage interview scheduling, facilitate candidate assessments, and serve as the main point of contact for candidates to ensure a positive hiring experience. QUALIFICATIONSExperience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Recruiting - Union experience a plus! Education: High school diploma but prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Soft Skills: Strict adherence to confidentiality, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
