Physical Therapist - Rehab/Medicine - Full Time

Physio Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Niagara Falls, New York. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to partner with patients in their journey toward recovery and optimal functionality. In this role, you will play a critical role in restoring mobility, enhancing the quality of life, and preventing further injury through expert diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Located in the scenic setting of Niagara Falls, Physio Recovery Center is a modern rehabilitation facility specializing in outpatient orthopedic therapy. Our state-of-the-art 5,000-square-foot sports medicine center is outfitted with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, allowing us to deliver high-quality care tailored to each patient's needs. We prioritizes patient outcomes and satisfaction, accepting primarily private medical insurance to provide accessible treatment options.

This role is conducted in an onsite rehabilitation center, where our team collaborates in a supportive environment. You will work alongside two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a collaborative atmosphere that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in patient care. Our center's layout encourages seamless interaction with patients, ensuring they receive personalized attention throughout their therapy journey.

Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques and modalities that aim to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical health.

Provide direct patient care for 2-3 patients per hour while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality, hands-on therapy sessions.

Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions that focus on improving motion and mobility, reducing reliance on medications, and providing alternatives to surgical procedures.

Document all patient interactions and care services in our EMR system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Consult and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary health care team, including physicians and other therapists, to enhance patient treatment plans.

Motivate and educate patients regarding their rehabilitation processes and the importance of maintaining active lifestyles.

Your primary focus will be on adult patients experiencing orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain. You will work to empower these individuals by not only addressing their immediate rehabilitation needs but also by promoting long-term wellness and preventive health strategies.

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.

Current New York State Physical Therapist license with no active disciplinary actions.

Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in exercise prescription are essential.

Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to document care and track patient progress.

Practical experience in a similar rehabilitation setting can greatly enhance the effectiveness of treatment provided to our patients.
