Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations, ensuring accurate documentation throughout the process.

• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, based on professional assessments and client needs.

• Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions using techniques aligned with the latest psychosocial treatment modalities.

• Monitor client progress systematically, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary while documenting outcomes and recommendations.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers, to ensure integrated care.

• Provide follow-up care for clients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient settings, ensuring continuity of care and addressing any emerging challenges.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery, and employ preventive strategies to promote improved mental health outcomes.

• Actively engage and support family members or primary caregivers in navigating mental health challenges, providing them with resources and educational materials.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Inner Wisdom Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a wide range of clients facing various mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and addiction disorders. Your role will involve understanding the unique backgrounds and needs of each client, fostering an environment of trust and respect that allows for effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated previous experience in a mental health counseling role, with knowledge of diagnostic assessments and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, to streamline documentation processes and enhance client management.

• Familiarity with American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical guidelines.

• Experience working with clients facing complex mental health and substance use issues, along with knowledge of medications prescribed by health specialists.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear and supportive interactions with clients and colleagues.

• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and a commitment to client-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
