Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Collaborate with clients to design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect their personal goals, preferences, and recovery journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address clients' mental health challenges effectively.

• Provide education and ongoing support to clients and their family members about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care practices to promote informed decision-making.

• Continuously track client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes, maintaining a flexible approach to therapy.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care strategies that holistically address client needs.

• Stay current with research and developments in mood disorder treatment to refine therapeutic approaches and enhance client care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT within Seaside Counseling and Assessment, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
