Work Environment\n

This position offers a unique remote work setting while serving schools in Glendale, Arizona. Our hybrid approach allows our clinicians to effectively reach students from the comfort of their homes. Although primarily remote, you will be actively involved with educational staff and parents to develop comprehensive strategies that address students’ mental health needs. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend availability based on client and school needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to students experiencing major mental illness or severe emotional disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.

• Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and execute intervention strategies tailored to each student’s unique circumstances.
\n
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to enhance the emotional and psychological well-being of students within the educational setting.
\n
• Engage in team meetings and consultative discussions to share insights and establish common goals that serve both students and the broader educational community.
\n
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in accordance with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.

• Participate in outreach and educational initiatives to promote mental health awareness within schools.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Our goal is to empower these young individuals by providing them with the necessary support, tools, and resources to navigate their mental health journeys successfully. By focusing on choice and empowerment, we aim to foster an environment where every student feels heard, valued, and capable of achieving their potential.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) or a related field from an accredited institution is required. A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.

• State licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Exceptional organizational and planning capabilities, coupled with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, working directly with children and adolescents in a mental health capacity is strongly preferred.
