Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This part-time role, scheduled from August 3, 2026 to May 26, 2027, will offer you the chance to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and adolescents in the greater Fredericksburg, VA area. The specific hours, assigned schools, and caseload details are in the process of being finalized with district leadership, ensuring the right fit for both you and the schools you will serve.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Occupational Therapy license for the state of Virginia
• Experience or strong interest in providing OT services within a school environment
• Familiarity with pediatric and adolescent assessments and interventions
• Flexibility to work at multiple campuses (exact assignment TBD)
• Commitment to timely credentialing processes, including immediate initiation of the VA Dept. of Social Services check and a valid TB test
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to meet students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams on student care plans
• Document progress and attend IEP meetings as required
• Flexibly adapt to evolving caseload needs as determined by district leadership
• Maintain compliance with all school and state regulations
