Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and interviews with clients and their families to gain insights into social, emotional, and economic factors impacting their health.

• Implementing telehealth therapy sessions that prioritize trauma-informed care and tailor interventions to individuals faced with substance use disorders.

• Monitoring client progress and consistently following up to ensure their psychological and emotional well-being improves over time.

• Collaborating with community organizations to research, refer, and advocate for essential resources such as housing assistance, food security, and healthcare services for clients.

• Effectively managing crisis situations, which may include addressing child abuse cases or mental health emergencies with urgency and compassion.

• Identifying gaps in the community and working diligently to engage vulnerable populations in need of support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences, particularly those dealing with trauma, substance use disorder, and mental health challenges. We prioritize delivering culturally competent and sensitive care, meeting clients where they are in their healing journey. In addition, given our connection with the community, experience working with Veterans and understanding their unique needs will be a significant asset in this role.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license issued by the appropriate regulatory body.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services, ideally in a healthcare or community health setting.

• A proven track record of working with the Department of Mental Health, including familiarity with associated billing and paperwork requirements.
\n
• Knowledge surrounding child development, parenting techniques, and the complexities of child abuse/neglect interventions.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively counsel, advocate, and support clients in their progress.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly valued:
