Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' counseling needs, including evaluating for substance abuse issues using DSM criteria.

• Develop and document individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, specifically tailored to clients' substance use and mental health challenges.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions focused on promoting mental health recovery and managing co-occurring disorders.

• Maintain and update comprehensive clinical documentation by tracking client progress, treatment efficacy, and any necessary adjustments in care.

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff, including the Clinical Director and Executive Director, to cultivate a therapeutic atmosphere conducive to long-term recovery.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, employing a multidisciplinary approach to guide clients through acute challenges.

• Coordinate with external referral sources such as legal entities, educational institutions, and family members to ensure holistic client support.

• Monitor and manage a caseload effectively, ensuring regular follow-up and support throughout the treatment continuum.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals suffering from substance use disorders and their accompanying mental health challenges. Our diverse patient population includes adults grappling with addiction, homelessness, trauma, and other psychosocial stressors. The services provided are designed to promote recovery and help clients reintegrate into their communities as contributing members.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Colorado.

Compensation and Benefits\n
