Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the counseling needs of clients, ensuring tailored treatment plans are developed.

• Utilize DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria to accurately diagnose substance use disorders and determine the appropriate level of care using ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) guidelines.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans specifically addressing the substance use counseling component of client care.
\n
• Facilitate the creation of a discharge and continuum of care plan, guiding clients toward the necessary steps for successful recovery.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all counseling services, assessments, referrals, and follow-ups in clients' clinical records.
\n
• Manage an individual caseload, performing treatment planning and clinical charting as necessary.
\n
• Coordinate support services for clients and families, ensuring all interventions and services are documented appropriately.
\n
• Engage with external resources such as legal representatives, educational institutions, and employers to ensure comprehensive client support.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop effective strategies for high-needs clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will focus primarily on clients struggling with substance use disorders, many of whom may also face mental health challenges. Working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, you will facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, aiming to create an inclusive environment that fosters healing and empowerment. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and current unrestricted LCSW license in the state of Oregon.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
