Work Environment\n

This role allows for a remote work setting while supporting our outpatient office, ensuring you can maintain a healthy work-life balance while effectively addressing your clients' mental health needs. Our standard operating hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate your clients’ scheduling needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that encourages growth and shared learning.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine clients' individual needs and create tailored treatment plans that promote effective healing.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy—to individuals, couples, and families, addressing their unique challenges and goals.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, helping clients process their experiences and connect with others facing similar struggles.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to provide coordinated and holistic care that addresses both the psychological and medical aspects of mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and stabilization techniques to those in need.
\n
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower their recovery journeys.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and best practices in client care.

• Actively engage in team consultations and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest research and therapeutic advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients experiencing challenges such as PTSD, substance abuse, grief, and trauma, focusing on providing support to individuals from various backgrounds and life stages. Your ability to tailor therapeutic techniques based on individual experiences will be instrumental in their recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication skills with an empathetic and client-centered approach.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting addressing mental health needs.

• Experience conducting group therapies and psychoeducational sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
