Mindful Walkway Counseling & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. This role allows you to work remotely while contributing significantly to our mission of enhancing the lives of marginalized communities in Bridgeport, Connecticut. As an LCSW, you will be integral in assessing and supporting children with developmental delays and their families, ensuring effective intervention and support strategies are in place.

Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, fostering a healthy work-life balance while allowing you to connect with children and families in their own environments. Although remote, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of professionals, including other social workers, therapists, and healthcare providers, creating a robust support network focused on achieving the best outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the individual needs of children and their families.
\n
• Participating actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to enhance the child's development.
\n
• Monitoring and tracking outcomes in collaboration with team members to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
\n
• Providing essential support to families, ensuring they have the skills and resources to foster their child's growth.
\n
• Complying with all Federal and State regulations while prioritizing the health and safety of both staff and clients.
\n
• Building rapport with children and families to establish trusting relationships that promote a positive learning environment.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to develop joint plans with families that align with the Natural Learning Environment Practices.
\n
• Coaching families through natural environment teaching techniques to enhance learning opportunities in everyday settings.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on children, particularly those in their early formative years, who experience developmental disabilities or delays. You will be instrumental in facilitating access to services that cater to their physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication development. Your work will directly contribute to empowering these children and their families, ensuring they receive the necessary support to thrive.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
\n
• Current licensure from the Department of Public Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• A valid driver's license for travel to client locations.
\n
