Role Overview

Create high-quality Castilian Spanish voice recordings that help improve an AI lab''s ability to understand and generate audio. This remote opportunity is for native speakers of the European Spanish variety who can deliver polished, natural-sounding recordings with professional production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Record Spanish-language audio with a neutral to upbeat customer-service delivery, clear enunciation, and consistent pacing.
• Follow transcripts precisely, including punctuation, commas, and dashes, or make appropriate edits to support natural pacing.
• Submit post-produced WAV recordings at 44.1 kHz in mono format, with less than one second of silence at the beginning and end and no audible breathing.
• Commit 2 to 10 hours per week to recording work.

Qualifications

• Native Castilian Spanish speaker, born and raised in Spain. Candidates should apply only if this is their native Spanish variety.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Professional voice acting experience is strongly preferred but not required.
• Speaking or audio experience in music, television, podcasts, Twitch streaming, comedy, YouTube, radio, or related fields is welcome.
• A professional home recording setup, including a professional-grade microphone, soundproofing, audio interface, pop filter, and post-production editing software.

Work Terms

• Remote, hourly engagement.
• Availability for a kickoff call is required.
• Starts occur on a rolling basis after contract acceptance and successful identity verification.

Compensation

• $250 USD per finished hour, calculated from the length of submitted audio.
