Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' emotional and psychological needs and develop individualized treatment strategies.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques for individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups to help patients and their families understand various mental health issues and build community support.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services to support patients during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients on their conditions, therapeutic options, and available support networks, ensuring they are empowered to take an active role in their recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care practices and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists will work with a diverse patient population coping with various mental health conditions, from common issues like anxiety and depression to more complex disorders like bipolar syndrome and substance abuse. These patients may include individuals, couples, and families, necessitating a multidimensional understanding of mental health challenges across demographics.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and appropriate therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting mental health evaluations and developing effective treatment plans.

• Experience delivering individual and group therapy across varying populations and circumstances.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with patients.

• Commitment to maintaining ethical boundaries and confidentiality in all aspects of care.

• Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems and standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
