Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally-sensitive assessments for new patients and their families, emphasizing their strengths and individual needs.

• Provide effective individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific challenges and goals identified during assessments.

• Ensure timely completion of all necessary documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations, adhering to established protocols and deadlines.

• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to foster and maintain client stability.
\n
• Create individualized discharge plans that support continued success post-treatment.
\n
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations as well as organizational policies and procedures.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to enhance your competencies as a mental health professional.

• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to foster a collaborative working environment.

• Complete all mandatory training and maintain licensure requirements to uphold professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with individuals and families facing conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and more. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that grants eligibility for licensure.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.
