As part of our outpatient office, you will operate in a stimulating and inclusive work environment designed to support both clients and therapists alike. While your primary work will be remote, you will have access to our comfortable office space when needed, allowing for seamless collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ specific mental health needs and establish individualized treatment plans tailored to their situations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to provide counseling services to individuals, groups, and families, ensuring a comprehensive approach to treatment.

• Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated client care, ensuring a holistic approach to health.

• Provide crisis intervention support to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, using your expertise, tact, and empathy to guide them through challenging times.

• Engage in proactive community outreach initiatives and educational programs to promote mental health literacy and reduce stigma, thereby benefitting the wider community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client base, including individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This role allows you to enhance your cultural competence and develop a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced by different populations. Your work will directly contribute to enabling clients to overcome mental health obstacles and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a current and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Hold a master’s degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Exhibit superior communication and interpersonal skills, cultivating strong therapeutic relationships with clients of diverse backgrounds and experiences.

• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity, adeptly working with individuals from various backgrounds and fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment.

• Showcase strong organizational and time-management abilities, maintaining accurate documentation and timely responses to client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a community mental health setting is highly desirable, along with skills in working with diverse populations and addressing various mental health issues.

• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems will be advantageous.

• Experience in crisis intervention and group therapy is a plus, contributing greatly to the variety of services we offer.
