Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct therapeutic sessions with clients through video conferencing, ensuring a safe and secure environment for open communication.

• Evaluate each client’s mental health needs comprehensively and create personalized treatment plans that target their unique challenges and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques—to effectively address client concerns.

• Offer ongoing guidance and support to clients, equipping them with practical coping mechanisms and resources to manage their mental health issues.

• Maintain detailed and confidential electronic records, documenting treatment progress and adaptations to care in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for each client.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about breakthroughs in mental health research and best practices, thereby enhancing treatment quality and outcomes.

You will work with a varied client base, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Candidates must possess one of the following valid California licenses: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in the mental health field, with a robust track record working with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with delivering services via telehealth platforms and a strong understanding of developmental stages and mental health disorders affecting various populations.

• Experience with crisis intervention techniques and an appreciation for the importance of evidence-based counseling practices.

• While not mandatory, additional certifications such as DBT, CCTP, Military and Trauma Certification, or LSATP are highly valued.
