Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients, identifying their unique emotional and psychological needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults navigating mental health concerns related to addiction, trauma, and life transitions. A significant portion of your clientele may include underserved individuals who experience significant barriers to accessing traditional mental health services. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credentials in New York State.

• Minimum of 4 years of recent experience in mental health counseling, with demonstrable competence in therapeutic settings.

• Working knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and the ability to de-escalate high-stress situations effectively.

• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to conduct assessments and design personalized treatment plans based on client progress.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills necessary for documenting sessions and reporting on client progress.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
