Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct secure, confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families using established telehealth platforms, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' relational dynamics, mental health issues, and family contexts, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans and measurable goals.

• Apply family systems theory and systemic interventions to address relationship issues, enhance communication, and alleviate family stressors.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to ensure client safety, demonstrating skillful management of urgent situations.

• Maintain meticulous electronic client records, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines to safeguard client confidentiality.

• Educate clients on effective communication, problem-solving techniques, and coping strategies to foster healthier relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of challenges such as communication breakdowns, marital distress, parenting issues, and mental health concerns. Your goal will be to facilitate and support clients on their journeys towards improved relational and emotional well-being, employing your expertise to effectively address their unique situations.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in marriage and family therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Southern Wellness Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
