Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Sharp Physical Therapy Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories, performing specific assessments, and making informed recommendations based on your findings.
• Communicating evaluation results and treatment plans clearly to both patients and their families, and actively involving them in the goal-setting process.
• Implementing customized treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and specific patient presentations, adapting methods to meet changing healthcare dynamics.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, and promptly documenting any changes in the patient's condition that may necessitate adjustments to the care plan.
• Completing detailed discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions to establish clear care trajectories.
• Managing time effectively to meet productivity standards, maintaining an organized schedule, and participating in community outreach initiatives to promote physical therapy.
• Contributing to departmental goals by actively engaging in the development and implementation of new strategies for improving patient care and access.
• Pursuing ongoing education and professional growth opportunities that enhance both your capabilities and those of the organization.
• Ensuring an excellent customer experience by remaining flexible, adaptable, and responsive to the needs of patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse patient populations experiencing various musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical conditions. At Sharp Physical Therapy Clinic, we are dedicated to developing tailored treatment strategies that address individual patient needs, optimizing their recovery and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, as well as CPR certification from the American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and a proactive approach to pursuing continuing education opportunities.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy role is preferred, we welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and grow in their practice.
• A background in outpatient rehabilitation settings is a plus but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
