Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, reviewing medical history, performing specific assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans based on findings.

• Communicate evaluation results and proposed treatment strategies clearly to patients and their families, actively involving them in setting realistic health goals.

• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to patient presentations and continuously monitor their progress to adapt care as needed.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, recognizing the need for adjustments in the plan of care based on patient condition changes.

• Ensure proper discharge planning and follow-up care, documenting patient progress accurately and thoroughly to capture the complete scope of their treatment journey.

• Uphold an efficient schedule, managing time effectively to meet clinic productivity expectations while maintaining flexibility to respond to patient needs.

• Contribute actively to departmental objectives, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic caters to a wide variety of patients encountering musculoskeletal disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and balance disorders. The Physical Therapist will be instrumental in helping patients of all ages regain mobility, alleviate pain, and achieve their functional goals. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current physical therapy license as required by the state of Virginia.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Compensation and Benefits
