Work Environment

You will work in a collaborative outpatient office environment, where you will routinely engage with patients one-on-one in a structured and supportive atmosphere. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling options, including shifts starting at 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The outpatient setting allows for tailored patient interactions, maximizing the effectiveness of treatment and the development of each care plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to determine each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that incorporate various modalities and therapeutic techniques.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to address injuries, post-surgical recovery, and other physical challenges.
• Provide hands-on manual therapy and exercise programs designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall functional mobility.
• Implement cost-effective treatments while emphasizing non-surgical alternatives to reduce the dependency on medications.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress, ensuring optimal recovery trajectories.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapy, fostering a supportive and healing environment.
• Promote health education and wellness practices among patients to enhance their overall well-being.

As a Physical Therapist at Beyond Therapy Center, you will work with a varied patient demographic, encompassing individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, athletes striving to optimize performance, and elderly patients enhancing mobility and independence. Our focus on personalized treatment methodologies allows staff to address the specific needs and goals of each patient effectively and compassionately.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a related degree.
• Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional ability in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in evidence-based practices.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.
• Proficient in the use of EMR software, particularly WebPT, for accurate record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desired.
• Experience working with patients of varying ages and with diverse physical needs.
• Successful history of implementing effective exercise and rehabilitation programs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
