Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor clients' mental health status and progress.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, to provide patients with coping strategies and emotional support.

• Maintain thorough documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient progress and comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Coordinate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social services, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, employing strong problem-solving skills to de-escalate situations and safely manage emergencies.

• Participate in regular team meetings, contributing insights and sharing best practices to enhance program effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients at varying stages of mental health challenges. Our patient population includes individuals dealing with substance use disorders, children, adolescents, and adults suffering from anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. A deep cultural competence and sensitivity to the varied backgrounds of our clients will enhance your effectiveness and rapport with them, allowing you to provide more personalized care.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid mental health licensure (e.g., LMFT, LCMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland.

• Minimum two years of experience in a clinical mental health setting.

• Strong understanding of contemporary therapeutic techniques and evidence-based treatments for mental health disorders.

• Proficiency in conducting individual and group therapy sessions effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, new hires may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
